I’ve learned how to pause. It’s amazing. And I could immediately channel that the next day when a kid (or adult) was being super annoying. Pause..... Now you’re less annoying.
Deep breaths. They change the whole game.
People kept telling me to take care of myself. I knew I needed to do that. But it wasn’t until I started walking the walk and doing a little yoga every day, a little meditation every day, a little gratitude every day, that I realized what my attitude and well-being could do for my teaching practice and for my students. I did the work (even a little work), and I saw the results. Thank you.
